Position Summary: 
 
The Facilities Associate is responsible for performing operational support duties of the Facilities Department as directed, ensuring that all facilities, properties, and office service functions operate effectively and efficiently.  Responsibilities will include maintaining the bank facilities and properties, equipment and supplies. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities 
  •  Responsible for working with facilities management to execute scheduled maintenance. 
  • May include some hands-on routine maintenance on buildings, including non-technical electrical, HVAC, plumbing, grounds, carpentry, custodial, exterior and interior repairs. 
  • Assist with work request tickets submitted by staff for facilities related items.
  • Assist with performing quarterly branch inspections at each location in coordination with facilities management and branch manager to identify and address potential hazards. 
  • Assist with inventory of furniture, equipment and supplies. 
  • Participate in special projects or assignments as necessary. 
  • Respond to facilities related emergencies as assigned. 
  • Perform other duties as required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. 
  • Follow procedures and policies that ensure compliance with not only Bank policies and procedures, but also all applicable federal and state banking regulatory agency policies. 
  • Comply with bank standards for attendance and hours of work. 
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. 
  • Maintain inventory and restock supplies as appropriate. 
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff and customers.  Respond promptly to concerns. 
Qualifications 

Education/Experience:  
High School Diploma or equivalent 
 
Driver’s License required 
 
3 years Facilities Maintenance experience to include basic preventative maintenance of multiple facilities, minor repairs involving plumbing, heating/cooling, basic electrical repairs and furniture moves 
 
Demonstrated ability to manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously while affording top priority to business-critical issues 
 
Problem solving/analytical reasoning/decision making             
 
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor                 
 
General construction comprehension of architectural & engineering drawings 
 
Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and in collaborative teams

  • Must have mechanical, plumbing and electrical aptitude.  Maintenance skills to handle minor repairs and fixtures.

  • Project a positive image of the bank to all internal and external customers.
 Time Management:
  • Ability to effectively manage one’s time to complete work according to established deadlines.  The ability to prioritize tasks to make the best use of time for high priority tasks.
 Team Player:
  •   Must view oneself as part of an overall team.  This includes supporting others throughout the entire bank to achieve the overall goals of the bank.

Travel:  
Valid driver’s license required for travel to Bank offices.
