Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused Academic Support Specialist to support Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Atlantic (EWTGL) in Virginia Beach, VA.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provide academic training and education in person, through distance learning, or a blended approach
- Develop, maintain, and distribute instructional materials such as outlines, lesson plans, reference materials, briefs, lectures, scenarios, animations, handouts, student and instructor workbooks, study guides, testing materials, critiques, and feedback
- Provide expertise in video software to assist in producing training videos, aids, and multimedia products
- Develop tailored teaching products and scenarios, as approved by course instructors
- Assist in maintaining, updating, and standardizing the instructor certification program to ensure instructors’ knowledge and presentation skills remain current. Contractors will undergo evaluation by students using EWTGL Instructor Rating Forms and by designated command personnel, in line with service regulations and the EWTGL Academics SOP
- Provide support for the maintenance of the reference library (both virtual and hard copy) containing unclassified manuals, documents, and reference materials necessary for training, curriculum development, and maintenance
- Support curriculum review, development, and implementation to meet academic warfare training requirements
- Offer analysis and recommendations for preferred course/instruction delivery, whether face-to-face or synthetic, in close coordination with course/program leads to identify requirements
- Assist with augmenting and providing backup support for synthetic and war-game operations
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a senior trainer/evaluator
Security Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance

Salary : $65,000 - $95,000
