Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support Commander, Naval Surface Forces Pacific (CNSP) and Afloat Training Group Pacific (ATGPAC) as a BMD Training Specialist Combat System Coordinator (CSC) Subject Matter Expert. This position emphasizes the importance of training and certification of ships in the Pacific Fleet, particularly focusing on Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) capabilities.
The BMD Training Specialist - CSC SME is crucial for maintaining a well-trained and ready fleet capable of effective BMD operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in combat systems, training development, and operational management, ensuring that the Pacific Fleet is equipped for immediate deployment and mission readiness.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Surface Navy Experience:
- 2 years of surface Navy experience as a Qualified Combat Systems Coordinator (CSC) on an Aegis BMD or equivalent platform.
- Operational experience or instructional experience on a BMD-configured Aegis ship or within a BMD command/agency.
- BMD Training and Certification:
- Participated in the completion of a BMD deployment certification or similar training as a CSC.
- Experience in developing comprehensive intelligence scenario products for BMD training.
Requirements
Experience:
- Surface Navy Experience:

- BMD Training and Certification:

- Experience in developing comprehensive intelligence scenario products for BMD training.
Knowledge Areas:
- BMD Knowledge:
- Thorough understanding of BMD tactics, technical systems, and instructions, including COMNAVSURFORINST 8820.2 series requirements and tactical memorandums.
- Familiarity with AEGIS Combat Systems, including its components and operational guidelines.
- Command and Control Issues:
- Knowledge of BMD command and control issues, particularly related to surveillance, engagement, and planning functions required for the various numbered fleets.
Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Salary : $80,000 - $135,000
