This position is contingent upon successful contract proposal submission and award.
Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support the Navy Analytic Studies Program as a Computer Programmer. Support includes the use of modeling, simulation and analysis tools and techniques to support Navy’s performance of its analytic portfolio.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Provide essential software design, development and integration support toward accomplishment of staff objectives
- Conduct analytic support encompassing all aspects of joint campaign, mission, and engagement-level modeling, including manpower and personnel, training and education, infrastructure, long-term planning, policy, medical logistics planning, and both afloat and ashore readiness
- Provide coordination across the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) staff, the Fleet, Systems Commands (SYSCOMs), Combatant Commanders (COCOMs), Marine Corps and other Service Staffs, Joint Staff, and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) staff
Requirements
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in programming and automatic data processing, with at least two of the following languages: C, C , Visual Basic, SQL or Java
- Knowledge of current operating systems such as UNIX, LINUX, Windows 7/XP operating systems
- Experience developing and/or modifying Graphical User Interfaces
- U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the Procurement Business Intelligence Service (PBIS)
- Familiarity with Jupiter ADVANA, Qlik Sense, and Databricks
- Familiarity with military rank structure, and terminology
Education:
- Computer Science degree with one year of formal training in performing modestly complex tasks in the design, development, troubleshooting, testing, and analysis of software programs for computer based systems
Security Clearance:
- Must possess an active SECRET Security Clearance

Salary : $85,000 - $130,000
