Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support the Navy Analytic Studies Program as a Logistics Analyst. Support includes the use of modeling, simulation and analysis tools and techniques to support Navy’s performance of its analytic portfolio.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Subject Matter Expert for Navy Logistics budget submissions
- Perform rigorous, time critical naval or joint campaign and mission- level analyses, usually based on modeling and simulation that illuminates complex warfare issues to support decision-making in the PPBE process
- Provide rigorous assessments of complex issues involving development of the warfighting support processes, readiness and provider enterprise operations
- Interface with all levels of DOD management as required to successfully meet program objectives
- Conduct analytic support encompassing all aspects of joint campaign, mission, and engagement-level modeling, including manpower and personnel, training and education, infrastructure, long-term planning, policy, medical logistics planning, and both afloat and ashore readiness
- Provide coordination across the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) staff, the Fleet, Systems Commands (SYSCOMs), Combatant Commanders (COCOMs), Marine Corps and other Service Staffs, Joint Staff, and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) staff
Requirements
Experience:
- 10 years of experience in managing retail and wholesale supply chains at levels equivalent to a large combatant (CVN), Type Commander, or Depot
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Navy Operations Analysis billet
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Familiarity with OPNAV organization, military rank structure, and terminology
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, or Management Science with a course in inventory control
- Certification in life-cycle logistics support of acquisition systems
- Certification in military supply chain management
Security Clearance:
- Must possess an active SECRET Security Clearance

Salary : $85,000 - $130,000
