Prevailance is seeking a skilled and mission-driven Senior SWCTC Analyst to support the Commander Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC). This role plays a critical part in SMWDC’s mission to enhance the lethality and tactical readiness of the Surface Force across all domains. The Analyst will support SMWDC’s four main lines of operation—Advanced Tactical Training, Doctrine and Tactical Guidance Development, Operational Support, and Capability Assessment / Experimentation / Requirements. Travel may be required for this position.
SMWDC’s mission is realized through four primary lines of operation:
- Advanced Tactical Training
- Doctrine and Tactical Guidance Development
- Operational Support
- Capability Assessment, Experimentation, and Requirements
SMWDC’s Subject Matter Experts are essential in advancing these objectives through individual and group instruction, training assessment, support for the Warfare Tactics Instructor (WTI) program, and the development of operational/tactical doctrine.
Support services for SMWDC are required across multiple sites, including:
- SMWDC Headquarters (HQ) in San Diego, CA
- Mine Warfare (MIW) Division, San Diego, CA
- Sea Combat (SC) Division, San Diego, CA
- Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) Division, Dahlgren, VA
- Amphibious Warfare (AMW) Division, Little Creek, VA
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provide expert analysis and support for fleet readiness evaluation, warfighting capability assessment, and review of tactical publications
- Support training instructions such as the Surface Force Training and Readiness Manual (SFTRM)
- Analyze and manage data within electronic training database systems, including RADM, TORIS/TFOM, and FLTMPS
- Ensure alignment with SMWDC objectives through training assessment, operational doctrine review, and curriculum support
- Collaborate with Afloat Training Group, Surface Warfare Officer School, and other major Navy commands to maintain high training standards
Requirements
- Security Clearance: Current SECRET clearance required at the time of proposal submission
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Experience:
- Electronic Training Database Systems: At least 10 years of recent experience with systems like RADM, TORIS/TFOM, and FLTMPS
- Surface Warfare Training Cycles: Minimum 12 years of experience within the past 4 years
- Surface Warfare Training Instructions: At least 3 years of recent experience with the SFTRM
- SWO Department Head Tour: Completion of an active duty Surface Warfare Officer (SWO) Department Head tour
- Training Department Collaboration: Recent experience working within or in collaboration with training departments of Afloat Training Group, Surface Warfare Officer School, or major Navy commands such as CNSF or Numbered Fleet

Salary : $80,000 - $135,000
