We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Visiting Supervisor. This individual will be a critical person as we expand our offerings into southern Utah. They will play a pivotal role in developing our caseload and hiring the team to deliver for our clients.
Although the posting has a specific address for the hybrid work, we are looking for office space as we speak. We will be opening an office in St. George AND Cedar City in the few months.
Home Visiting Program Supervisor
Purpose: To implement and/or administer the Home Visiting Program
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree OR Associates degree along with relevant work experience.
2. Certification in Parents as Teachers, STEP, or Safe Care home visiting programs.
3. Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
4. Home visitation experience preferred.
5. Supervision experience helpful.
General Responsibilities and requirements:
- Supervise daily operations of Parent Educators.
- Engage community leaders in the formation of a Community Advisory Committee.
- Assist in interviewing and hiring of quality parent educators.
- Become certified as a parent educator.
- Assist in developing a program implementation plan.
- Provide orientation for new parent educators.
- Coordinate with other agencies for cooperative services to families with identified high needs.
- Advocate for the program, parent educators, and families.
- Become certified in all required developmental screenings/assessments/evaluations.
- Serve as home visitor, including accompanying home visits of Parent Educator.
- Maintain certifications.
- React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of end-of-year reports; mid-year reports and other reports as required.
- Conduct staff meetings regularly and provide ongoing training for staff; provide opportunities for professional development as required by program, state, and national standards.
- Conduct one-on-one supervision with staff as needed, but at least twice monthly.
- Organize PAT family handouts and personal visit materials.
- Review records on a regular basis and address concerns and needs as they arise.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the regional Assistant Director of Home Visiting that are consistent with this position
