Pay Range: $15 - $20 per hour
Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, some evenings and weekends required as needed.
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-exempt
Primary Job Functions: To clean hvac duct and dryer vents. Present the company and yourself well with the customers. Conduct yourself in a professional manner.
Required qualifications:
- A willingness to learn duct and/or dryer vent cleaning, repair, and/or installation.
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean enough driving record to be Insurable by company insurance carrier
- Able to clearly communicate in English
- Participate in company meetings
- Must be able to take direction from supervisors
- Must possess basic safety knowledge of tools and how to safely use a ladder
- Be on time each day
- Adhere to company dress code
- Willingness to invest in training and education
- Accurately complete timecard
- Follow directions - verbally and written
- Ability to operate a battery drill
- Ability to cut and drill holes as needed
- Ability to load and unload truck as needed
- Ability to restock truck with supplies
- Ability to comply with ALL SAFETY RULES
- Lift 50 lbs.
- High School diploma or GED
Qualifications Desired:
- Previous experience working in hvac, electrical, maintenance, pest control, a huge plus.
- Experience working with tools, dealing with hot and/or cold temperatures while on the job.
- Ability to present the company and yourself well with customers.
Job Duties:
- Properly use safety equipment
- Clean truck and trailer as needed, including exterior and interior - keeping vehicle free from trash, dirt and unused food or drink. Materials in back should always be secured before traveling.
- Operate company vehicle following all laws and regulations.
- Follow instructions from a supervisor in a timely manner and with a positive "can do" attitude.
- Immediately report any problems with tools or vehicle to the office.
- Work well with co-workers, customers, and sub-contractors.
- Clean job site - The job site should be clean and neat after job completion, taking any trash or scraps away from the job site.
- ALWAYS maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- Safely work off of step and extension ladders - up to 30’ ft.
- Obtain positive Google reviews.
- Pick up parts and supplies from distributors as needed.
Physical demands:
- Reaching, bending, stooping, walking, crawling, sitting, squatting, holding and carrying objects and lifting up to 50 lbs. Work in attics and under houses.
Work environment:
- Consists of extreme variations due to conditions, including but not limited to, heat, cold, wet, wind, sunlight, absence of light, insects, animals, reptiles, and other conditions deemed by job site.
