Location: Montgomery, AL
Total compensation: $50,000 - $80,000 (based on experience)

Preventia Security, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
- Perform routine inspections, tests, and preventative maintenance on fire alarm systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions.
- Program fire alarm control panels and devices.
- Conduct system acceptance testing and commissioning.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national fire codes and regulations.
- Prepare detailed service reports and documentation.
- Respond to service calls and emergency situations.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and acquire necessary certifications (training and fees paid for by Preventia)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to have but NOT required:
- Experience in the fire alarm industry
- NICET certification
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including conventional, addressable, and network systems
- Experience with various fire alarm manufacturers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
