Job Summary
As a Behavioral Health Counselor, you will be responsible for providing counseling services to individuals, families, or groups experiencing behavioral health issues. Your role will involve implementing therapeutic techniques and interventions to support clients in achieving mental wellness and behavioral health goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to address emotional and psychological issues
- Develop treatment plans tailored to each client's needs
- Perform case management duties to coordinate care and support services
-Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement.
-Collaboration and partnership with community agencies

Requirements
-Master’s-level mental health professionals with graduate degrees in a clinical field of psychology, social work, or counseling, and background in family, youth and community service with a minimum of two years’ experience preferred.
- Experience in child and family counseling
- Knowledge of coding for documentation purposes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
