The Human Resource Generalist supports and facilitates the human resources processes for the organization and is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. This position is a key function to supporting and engaging company culture and initiatives.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for a variety of cross-functional duties in the administration of human resources, employee relations (LOA, exit interviews), status changes, workers comp, unemployment etc. for, Georgia and Pennsylvania Mental Health Programs
- Responsible for recruiting and onboarding for Georgia and PA Mental Health programs.
- Provide information on employee programs and policies
- Complete special projects by clarifying project objectives; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling obligations
- Provides guidance on Employee Relations issues
- Tracks and communication Performance Tracking
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Perform other functions and tasks, as assigned
- Supports and engages in positive company culture
- Responsible for maintaining knowledge of employment laws
- Responsible for credentialing and personnel file compliance, communication and tracking for Georgia and PA Mental Health.
- Other duties as needed

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- SHRM Certification, a degree in Human Resources or the equivalent work experience preferred
- Experience in health care industry preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources
