Pigeon Control Technician

Preventive Pest Control is a locally owned and operated pest control business that has been in Las Vegas since 2002. We provide pest control to over 7000 customers in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Pahrump, Boulder City, Mesquite, and surrounding areas, from small apartments to the city's largest mansions, and from the small mom-and-pop businesses up to some of the largest convention and warehouse buildings in town.

Our growing company is looking to add the right person to our team. As a specialty services technician you will do exclusion work for pigeons, scorpions, and rodents. This requires an ability to find the problem, figure out a solution, and then complete the work using the tools and equipment we provide. Experience in handyman/general maintenance work is a plus. Must be comfortable working on ladders and roofs. Must have a valid drivers license, be 21 years of age, and pass a background test.

Duties:

• Inspection of pigeon infestation and creating estimates for customer
• Installation of pigeon exclusion measures such as solar mesh, bird line, steel mesh, and netting.
• Cleanup of pigeon waste
• Other various general pest control services

Experience and Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in pest control is preferred.
- Familiar and comoftable with working on ladders and at heights.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and boom and scissor lifts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box to fix a problem.
- Good driving history and clean background.
- Ability to pass state licensing exam.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
