Fitness Studio Sales Manager

FXB (Farrells Extreme Body Shaping-https://extremebodyshaping.com/) is looking for a high energy, ambitious individual who wants to get into one of the most EXCITING gyms in the workout space. We are looking for a person who has a super positive and up-beat personality and a Superstar in Sales and Customer Service.

This role assists in grand opening of a New FXB fitness studio operations at Torrance, California., Initially the role will be of a Sales Manager, upon grand opening this position may be transitioned to Studio Manager role based on performance.

This role is responsible for meeting and exceeding all key performance sales indicators for the fitness studio, including membership sales and renewals, retail and concession sales, maximizing workout traffic, and maintaining premium customer service levels.

Position:

The ideal Sales Manager will oversee all Studio functionality from Sales to Instructors, however, 80-90 percent of the role is driving Sales, with 10-20 percent focused on studio staff management and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and Networking

• Implement a sales process to schedule prospects into Intro class

• Drive membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts

• Establishes and maintains an effective referral program

• Conducts telephone inquiries/follow up calls/customer care calls

• Leads studio previews with prospects and/or fitness program holders

• Greets members and guests promptly, enthusiastically and with a smile to create a friendly positive entrance into the studio

• Accurately follow the daily studio cleaning checklist (pre/during/post) shift activities

• Must be able to participate in 1-2 scheduled workouts per week

• Maintains an organized and clean lobby/front desk area

• Responsible for processing accurate cash and credit card transactions

• Follow up and follow through with all prospective clients

• Responds immediately to member requests, inquiries and concerns.

• Proper onboarding all clients using Client Intake Forms and Membership Agreements

• Directly coordinate with all vendors, ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts

• Enforce FXB policies and procedures

• Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visible

• Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions

• Strategically managing marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio

• Any other duties as assigned by studio owners

Requirements:

• atleast 4-5 years of fitness sales experience is MUST

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with studio owner

• Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams from membership sales to retail

• Previous sales experience, with strong sales skills (MUST have previous experience in Marketing and sales cycle leading to grand opening of fitness studio).

• Solid verbal and written communication skills required

• Able to multi-task and excel in a busy environment.

• Functional computer skills required – MS Office basic programs (word, excel), Internet, Basic computer program software. Health & Fitness minded people strongly preferred

• High school diploma required. Ability to work and function independently.

• Flexible working evening and/or weekend hours as needed.

It is a contract to hire position – initially up to 3 to 6 months, hourly paid between $20 to $30 per hour based on experience sales commissions.

Expected full-time compensation

$39,600 - $65,000 /year base salary commission.
