Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Door Person to join the team at one of our communities in the Kenwood/Hyde Park. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining security and safety protocols. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, vigilance, and the ability to manage various situations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and visitors at the door with a friendly demeanor, providing assistance as needed.
- Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the area using CCTV systems to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats.
- Receive and manage resident packages deliveries, ensuring packages are placed in a secured room and residents are notified of deliveries.
- Manage conflicts or disturbances with professionalism, utilizing conflict management techniques as necessary.
- Maintain a detailed log of incidents, observations, and any actions taken during shifts.
Skills
- Experience as a member of a door staff or in customer service is required.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment including CCTV systems is beneficial.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential risks or issues promptly.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests, staff, and emergency personnel when necessary.
