CAD Designer – Plastics/Foam/Structures
We are currently seeking a CAD Designer – Plastics/Foam/Structures who is responsible for designing and developing seating components using Catia 3DX for a world-class vehicle in terms of both styling and functionality.
This position requires experienced professionals with a can-do attitude, vigor, and determination. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly, and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. They will also act as mentors to more junior engineers.
Your Role:
- Be a significant contributor to a world-class seating team by contributing to the packaging, engineering, release, and launch of seating components in the portfolio.
- Work with the DREs/Lead Engineers/Broader stakeholders to assure CAD is updated per team agreements and adherent to industry standards and design guidelines.
- Employ and develop effective tools and an innovative approach to supporting the development process.
Qualifications:
- The candidate must have been part of at least 2 full programs from start to finish.
- Previous knowledge of seating systems is required.
- The candidate must be experienced in using CAD to create 2D/3D concepts efficiently, packaging layouts, and DFM studies, specifically with CATIA 3DX.
- The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience working in a cross-functional team involving multiple vehicle systems.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in science or in a relevant discipline is required.
