Role & Responsibilites
- People manager and Operational needs of the plant
- 4 direct reports : payroll, inventory, and accounting (leverage people to properly respond to business requests)
- 450 employees. Multiple production lines. Plant is open 24 / 7
- Requiring Manufacturing experience as a plant controller (this is key to being successful in this role)
- Support PLT (plant leadership team) with decisions they need to make
- PLT is ten people (operations managers, warehouse managers, safety, quality, engineering, continuous improvement) – dynamic team
- Will provide financial and strategic advice
- Strategic thinker, team builder
- Working with people at plant level all the way up to Corporate Team
- Leading finances at the plant
- Present finance reports to PLT
- Do major budget presentations
- Simplify complex issues for non-finance employees
- Responsible for individual cost center budget
- SAP is good to have (they use a Line Performance Monitoring tool – LPR)
- Reports to plant director in Lancaster, PA
