- Strong data analysis skills including oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with IT and business representatives.
- Strong enterprise data modeling expertise
- Must have 6 or more years of experience using data modeling tools and methodologies
- Must have 6 or more years of experience writing and tuning complex SQLs, and the ability to analyze and make recommendations on results.
- Expertise building conceptual data models through to physical data models and DDL / DML generation
- Knowledge of building data assets that are strategic, trusted, and agile with governance for data accountability and responsibility
- Working knowledge of modeling data access layers in an enterprise lakehouse environment
- Must be able to collaborate in a team-oriented environment as well as work independently with direction.
- Well versed in different data modeling methodologies (3NF, Dimensional, Data Vault)
- Experience with cloud data lake solutions
- Expertise with cloud data, enterprise data lake, and business intelligence development technologies.
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
- Experience using either PowerDesigner or Erwin modeling software
- Expertise in performing data analysis and data profiling across a diverse set of data
- Experience working within a medallion architecture
