The firm is seeking an Assistant Project Coordinator to support a brilliant Sr Project Manager and his staff of four. They require a qualified individual with a minimum of three years of experience. The ideal candidate needs to commit to five days in the office and should reside in Nassau or Suffolk County.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines
Assist the Sr PM in the analysis of construction plans, HVAC documents, scope of work, costs, and contracts
Work with project managers to understand and execute change order requests
Support in the preparation of proposals.
Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to request bids/quotes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred but high school or equivalent work experience will be accepted.
Previous role as an Assistant Project Coordinator preferably in the construction space would be a plus.
Strong computer software skills with applications such as Excel.
