This position pays $65.00 to $68.00 per hour on a w-2 hourly basis.
Position Overview :
The firm is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Data & Analytics Project Manager to oversee and deliver high-impact data projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, experience with data analytics initiatives, and expertise in leveraging Azure DevOps for work management. This role will require excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to lead cross-functional teams and ensure project success.
Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Execution :
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
Manage and prioritize tasks using Azure DevOps to ensure on-time delivery.
Work Management :
Utilize Azure DevOps to create and manage backlogs, user stories, and work items.
Monitor project progress through boards, sprints, and reporting dashboards.
Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Team Leadership :
Lead cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
Foster collaboration, ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines.
Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and roadblocks effectively.
Stakeholder Communication :
Act as the primary point of contact for project updates, ensuring clear and transparent communication.
Prepare and present project status reports, KPIs, and analytics insights to stakeholders.
Gather and document requirements for data and analytics solutions.
Quality Assurance and Delivery :
Ensure data projects adhere to quality standards and meet business requirements.
Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of data analytics solutions.
Promote the adoption of best practices in data management and analytics.
Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
5 years of experience in project management with a focus on data and analytics projects.
Proven expertise in using Azure DevOps for project and work management.
Skills :
Familiarity with data platforms, tools, and technologies (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, or similar).
Understanding of agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications :
PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification.
Experience in cloud-based analytics projects using Azure services.
Understanding of data governance, data quality, and BI best practices.
