What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Emerging Technologies - (Asset Management) position at PRI Technology?
I have a full time opportunity for one of the top tier Asset Management firms in Midtown Manhattan looking for a Director of Emerging Technologies. This role will report into the CIO and manage a team of technologists based in NY, Europe and Asia. You will touch all parts of tech and the business mostly focused on Marketing, Sales, Client Relationship Management and Data Analytics. Key responsibilities for this role will cover data analytics, CRM, Sales and Marketing portals and platforms including the deployment of sophisticated technological to enhance client engagement, and drive business growth.
3 days onsite in Midtown, Manhattan, NYC
Responsibilities:
- Work with business and technology leaders to structure and execute technological vision focusing on marketing and sales across business and technology teams.
- Ensure the delivery, particularly of Microsoft products, Salesforce, and cloud solutions (Azure/AWS) that will integrate to various CRM systems, CMS, data analytics platforms, and other relevant technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, including implementation, customization, and integration with other systems.
- Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of cloud, web development technologies, and frameworks.
- Experience in managing and executing website revamps, with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Demonstrable experience with data analytics and metrics to drive decisions and improvements.
- Ongoing assessment of requirements to ensure the delivered solutions are meeting the stated requirements.
- Communication of the status of deliverables, key issues, risks & dependencies
- Analyze the requirements of the business users to ensure that the project meets functional and operational goals.
- Work with the business teams to understand business processes, improvements and system requirements
- Capture and document requirements as part of agile development projects
- Work with external vendors to implement changes and manage change requests, when required.
- Work with internal QA, business and technical teams to ensure proper testing and acceptance criteria process are being followed
- Work with business teams to deploy systems, provide training and process improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in marketing and sales technology leadership roles, with a strong portfolio of successful technology projects.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering both requirement and large, complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of effectively presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Technical certifications a plus: Salesforce, Azure/AWS
- Project Management certifications a plus: PMP/CSM
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Experience in leading digital transformation projects, particularly involving customer-facing platforms.
