The Head of Distribution Technology is a pivotal leadership role responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of technology solutions across Marketing, Sales, Employee Platform, and Client Services.
Key Responsibilities
· Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a technological vision aligned with the company's growth goals, focusing on marketing and sales.
· Team Formation: Identify, recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier talent. Build a high-performing Marketing and Sales Tech team to support growth initiatives.
· Technology Expertise: Ensure seamless integration and functionality of key platforms, particularly Microsoft products, Salesforce, and cloud solutions (Azure/AWS). Oversee the integration of CRM systems, CMS, data analytics platforms, and other relevant technologies.
· Actionable Insights: Utilize data analytics to ensure marketing and sales teams have actionable insights and tools to maximize ROI.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Develop strong collaborative relationships with internal teams, particularly marketing and sales, to understand their technology needs and deliver solutions that drive business results.
· Vendor and Platform Management: Manage relationships with key technology vendors and platform providers to ensure optimal value and performance.
· Risk Management: Ensure technology implementations adhere to industry best practices, maintaining data security and compliance standards.
· Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology and data projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
· Proven experience in marketing and sales technology leadership roles, with a strong portfolio of successful technology projects.
· Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, including implementation, customization, and integration with other systems.
· Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of cloud, web development technologies, and frameworks.
· Experience in managing and executing website revamps, with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
· Demonstrable experience with data analytics and metrics to drive decisions and improvements.
· Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering both requirement and large, complex projects on time and within budget.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of effectively presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
