Job Description
Price County is accepting applications for Summer Hire Employment. These are limited-term positions starting approximately June 2, 2025 and ending approximately August 28, 2025. The starting wage is $16.00 per hour. No benefits are available except those required by law.Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at time employment begins.
- Possess the physical ability to perform the necessary duties of the department.
- Possess a valid WI driver’s license; good driving record; and ability to maintain reliable transportation to and from work.
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Preference will be given to those candidates who have been accepted to attend a college/university; or a current college student on summer break.
- Mechanical aptitude and general knowledge of lawn/farming machinery preferred.
The selection process for this position may include an employment history evaluation; a personal interview; and a pre-employment drug screening.
