We seek sharp and energetic people to fill the Full-Time Porter role.

Responsibilities

• Moving dealership and service vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility
• Drives customers to their homes or places of business and picks them up after their vehicle is repaired.
• Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
• Keeps a timely shuttle route.
• Assists passengers in getting in and out of vehicles.
• Operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Keeps a record of trips including names of passengers and destination or pick-up point.
• Notifies dispatcher or service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, and cleaning.
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Maintains an orderly service and sales parking area, lot and vehicle display, car preparation, shop, and showroom appearance
• Clean interior and exterior windows
• Details vehicles and takes vehicles to offsite detail locations
• Vacuum and scrub the interior of the vehicle
• Utilize special-purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles
  
  

Requirements

• Clean driving record - MVR
• Friendly and customer service-focused
• Reliable
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure
• Able to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as work outside
• Able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles
• Have basic computer knowledge
• Customer Service experience is preferred
• Professional appearance is necessary
• Must have a valid driver's license and must be insurable
• Must be able to work morning and/or evening hours
• Must be available to work some weekends.
• Overtime possible and sometimes necessary.
• Wage: Hourly pay
  
  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, WORK ENVIROMENTS, and WORK SCHEDULE:

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Safely work with team to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 100 pounds. Stand, walk or sit for long periods of time without resting. Ability to perform routine kneeling, crouching or crawling. Salary Description

$17-$20/hour
