What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Meat Portioner position at Price Rite?
We are seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team at Price Rite. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting portions of meat using band saws or slicers and checking weights to ensure accuracy.
You will also be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing knives and tools, as well as checking the cutting list and obtaining stock from coolers as needed.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent knife skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
