Busy east coast storm restoration company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team. We are a small, fast-paced, and growing company. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has a strong work ethic, and is willing to learn. This position will require a high level of attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to communicate with customers and / or vendors in a professional manner. Must be a team player. Able to work with staff and perform general office duties and daily activities of accounts payable and receivable, bank deposits, payroll, help with preparing daily / weekly pay sheets, monthly financial statements, and general bookkeeping responsibilities for company.

Qualifications :

• 2 years construction bookkeeping experience.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online.
• Proficient in Excel Spreadsheets, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong ability to multi-task and work on several projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Team Player with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to solve problems in a positive manner.
• Thorough attention to detail, accuracy, and understanding of SFAS / GAAP rules including best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills needed to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of ADP preferred.

Principal Responsibilities :

Job Type : Full-Time - In person position

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000 annually -TBD based on experience and qualifications
