Job Title: Financial Accountant – Fixed Assets & Grants
Location: 1201 E. 7th Ave., Tampa, FL 33605
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7 AM - 4 PM
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Mandatory).
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, specifically in fixed assets and grants.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform account analysis, reconciliations, journal entries, and audit schedules.
- Maintain and update fixed asset records, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile fixed asset accounting with the general ledger and assist with audits.
- Prepare financial reports, including National Transit Database annual financial reports.
- Manage grant accounting functions, including cash requests and financial reporting.
- Ensure grant compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Assist with budget tracking, financial analysis, and special projects as needed.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting and grant management.
- Experience with financial reporting and audit preparation.
- Proficiency in GAAP and accounting software.
