Job Description:
We are seeking a Systems Analyst 3 with strong ArcGIS administration and development skills. This role will serve as the administrator of an ArcGIS SaaS instance, supporting a diverse user base, and ensuring appropriate data access and security across various user groups. The ideal candidate will have experience with system analysis, user requirements gathering, and process improvement for enterprise-level systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator for an ArcGIS Online or On-premise SaaS environment.
- Configure and maintain user access, security groups, and permissions.
- Develop and manage Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Analyze current operational procedures to identify system improvements.
- Write detailed documentation of user needs and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business users to automate and enhance systems.
- Review system specifications to determine feasibility within current platforms.
- Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution related to ArcGIS and Tableau tools.
- Support GIS visualization development and analytics.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in ArcGIS administration or development (both preferred).
- Strong background in user permissions, access controls, and security.
- Experience analyzing and documenting business processes and system enhancements.
- Ability to translate user requirements into technical specifications.
- 5 years of experience with data management and database concepts
- 5 years of experience with data cleaning and manipulation
- 5 years troubleshooting issues in ArcGIS Online or On-premise environments
- 4 years of user access/permission management in a SaaS system
- 3 years of experience as an ArcGIS Online or On-premise administrator
- 2 years developing GIS visualizations and analytics
- Familiarity with Tableau development and administration
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
