Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team for a part-time opportunity. The ideal candidate will be ARRT Certified with prior experience in MRI imaging. This role is perfect for professionals looking for a Sunday-only schedule, scanning 10-12 patients per day in a high-quality healthcare environment.
Responsibilities :
- Perform MRI imaging procedures following written protocols.
- Operate and prepare specialized MRI equipment.
- Assist, prepare, and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Ensure MRI safety precautions and review patient safety questionnaires.
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and provide necessary instructions.
- Administer contrast media as required under aseptic technique.
- Ensure images are labeled correctly and transmitted to PACS in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of MRI rooms and equipment.
- Accurately record patient tracking information into the Radiology Information System (IDX).
- Attend in-service training and stay up to date with licensing requirements.
