Job Title: .Net MVC C# Developer Contract Opportunity

Location: 1430 Maryland Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55106 - Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced .Net MVC C# Developer to assist with the modernization and support of a key application. This role involves working closely with architects, business analysts, and quality assurance teams to transform business requirements into technical solutions. The developer will play a critical role in implementing enterprise solutions, ensuring security compliance, and providing ongoing support, including functionality updates and integration training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support ASP .NET MVC applications using C#
• Implement enterprise solutions following established security and development patterns
• Build, deploy, and test software applications using automated testing and deployment tools
• Provide technical guidance to identify cost-effective solutions that meet business objectives
• Execute unit and integration testing procedures and review test cases in collaboration with QA teams
• Work within an Agile Scrum development team to ensure timely project delivery
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to support team members

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7 years of experience developing ASP .NET MVC applications with C#
• 5 years of experience with unit testing (NUnit preferred)
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end libraries (Bootstrap 4/5, jQuery)
• Experience using Entity Framework and writing T-SQL for MS SQL Server
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP web services, Web API, XML schemas, and XSLT
• Experience in Windows Services development using .NET 4.0 or above
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline automation
• Strong knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD) concepts

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working in law enforcement or criminal justice systems
• Knowledge of best practices for security updates and application modernization

Work Environment:

• Hybrid model: On-site two days a week and remote the rest
• Collaborative and fast-paced Agile environment
