Job Title: Network Security Engineer
Location :2308 Avenue F, Bay City, Texas
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Description:
We are seeking a Network Security Engineer 2 to support approximately 250 users and endpoints in an on-premises IT environment. The candidate will perform system administration tasks, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and implement security measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, Group Policies, and Remote Access solutions
- Implement security event logging, network access controls, and access control lists
- Configure and support Microsoft SCCM or similar workstation imaging solutions
- Administer servers, operating systems, and applications
- Troubleshoot network and system issues
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience with Active Directory (Required)
- 5 years of experience with Remote Access, SCCM, Security Event Logging, Network Access Controls, and ACLs (Preferred)
- Familiarity with security standards (DoD STIGS, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171) preferred
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
