Job Title: Reports Developer
Location: Austin, Texas (Onsite)
We are seeking a highly skilled Reports Developer to join our team for a large-scale project in the public sector. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to impactful projects in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced database and reports analysis, including support, improvement, and enhancement activities.
- Devise innovative solutions to complex problems and provide thought leadership in reporting and database management.
- Design and develop high-quality reports using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Jasper Reports.
- Aggregate and analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, adhering to SDLC processes using an Agile-like approach.
- Manage project scope and provide regular updates on project status and deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in database and report development with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- 8 years of experience in designing and coding complex reports.
- Expertise in using Jasper Reports for report development and customization.
- Professional experience supporting PEIMS (Public Education Information Management System) projects or similar educational reporting systems.
- Strong skills in data aggregation, analysis, and stored procedure development.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
