We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Leader – Telecom Pre-Sales to drive technical solutioning, strategic engagements, and business growth in the telecom sector. This role will work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to develop and present compelling solutions to telecom operators, fixed broadband providers, and strategic accounts.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in wireless and wireline telecom solutions, 5G, Open RAN, Fiber, Cloud-based networking, and managed services. They will lead pre-sales efforts, ensuring our solutions align with customer needs, industry trends, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Solutioning
- Lead the pre-sales process, translating customer requirements into tailored telecom solutions.
- Develop and present technical proposals, RFP responses, and solution roadmaps for MNOs, broadband providers, and telecom enterprises.
- Conduct solution workshops, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and demos showcasing innovative telecom technologies.
- Collaborate with sales teams to define value propositions and differentiate solutions in competitive telecom markets.
Customer & Partner Engagement
- Act as the technical lead in high-profile customer engagements, addressing technical challenges and business pain points.
- Establish and maintain relationships with telecom operators, system integrators, and OEM partners to drive solution adoption.
- Engage with C-level executives, network architects, and decision-makers, ensuring solutions align with their technology strategies.
Technology & Industry Expertise
- Stay ahead of trends in 5G, Open RAN, vRAN, Cloud RAN, Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), Fiber, xHaul, and AI-driven telecom solutions.
- Guide internal teams on emerging telecom architectures, cloud-native networks, and edge computing.
- Develop competitive analysis reports, ensuring solutions align with market demands.
Collaboration & Go-to-Market Strategy
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to refine solution offerings based on market needs.
- Support go-to-market strategies by identifying customer pain points and recommending product innovations.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars, positioning the company as a telecom thought leader

Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 10 years in telecom pre-sales, solutions architecture, or technology consulting with a track record of delivering technical solutions to MNOs and broadband providers.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of 5G, LTE, RAN/Core, Open RAN, SDN/NFV, ORAN, Wi-Fi 6, Fiber, xHaul, RF, and edge computing.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience working with leading OEMs (e.g., Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei, Cisco, Juniper, etc.) and familiarity with telecom vendor ecosystems.
- Sales & Customer Engagement: Ability to articulate complex telecom solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Business Acumen: Experience with solution pricing, TCO analysis, and ROI modeling for telecom solutions.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to align sales, engineering, and product teams to drive customer success.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Travel: Willingness to travel 25-30% internationally for customer and partner meetings.
