Job Description:
We are seeking a Systems Analyst 3 with strong Tableau administration and development experience. This role will be responsible for managing a Tableau Online SaaS instance, supporting a broad and diverse set of users, while ensuring data security and performance optimization across the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary Tableau Online Administrator
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups
- Ensure secure access controls between user groups and external stakeholders
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards and reports
- Analyze business needs and propose technical solutions
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and enhance data visualization tools
- Perform system analysis, troubleshoot issues, and provide support for Tableau-related incidents
- Ensure best practices in data modeling, design, and governance
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in Tableau Administration and dashboard/report development using Tableau or Power BI
- Strong understanding of user administration and permission management in a SaaS environment
- Ability to perform detailed analysis and support application design
- 5 years of experience with data management and database concepts
- 5 years with data cleaning and manipulation techniques
- 5 years of experience in troubleshooting technical issues in Tableau Cloud or Enterprise
- 4 years of experience managing Tableau Server or Tableau Online
- 2 years of hands-on Tableau dashboard/report development
- Power BI Administration experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
