Whats unique about this job (What you’ll do)
The IT Business Analyst for Logistics Technology is responsible for analyzing business needs, defining system requirements, and delivering technical solutions to enhance PriceSmart's logistics technology systems. This includes Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Global Trade Management (GTM) solutions. The IT Business Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics operations, streamline processes, and drive business growth through data-driven decision-making..
Responsibilities
- Drive Logistics Innovation: Play a critical role in transforming PriceSmart’s logistics technology landscape by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve accuracy in supply chain operations.
- Optimize Supply Chain Systems: Work closely with stakeholders to implement and enhance WMS, TMS, and GTM solutions, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Enhance Decision-Making: Leverage data analytics and reporting tools to provide actionable insights that empower logistics leaders to make data-driven decisions.
- Act as a Liaison: Serve as the bridge between business teams and IT, ensuring that technical solutions align with operational goals and deliver measurable impact.
- Agile Leadership: Facilitate Agile processes, ensuring that sprint cycles and backlog priorities drive continuous improvement in logistics technology.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role in logistics or supply chain technology.
- Proven ability to analyze and optimize logistics technology solutions.
- Experience working in Agile environments, leading sprints, and managing system requirements.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of logistics systems (WMS, TMS, GTM).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive technology solutions that enhance logistics operations.
