Ideal Candidate is:
Friendly and energetic with a sunny disposition, customer focused, highly detailed, organized, ready to multitask, excited to share their knowledge and passion of plants and gardening with our wonderful customers. Experience in the nursery or landscaping industry is a plus but not required. Experience through gardening at home and/or through horticulture classes is necessary. Must be able to lift over 40lbs and not be afraid of physical work or getting dirty.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Assisting & educating customers with plant & product selection
- Ringing up customer purchases
- Unloading & merchandising of plants, pottery and other garden related product in an organized manner
- Creating and maintaining effective displays
- Participating in the care and upkeep of plants
- Working as a team with the sales-helpers to maintain a clean, beautiful and organized nursery
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
