Dental Assistant

Our specialized pediatric dental office is looking for a skilled dental assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing patients to see our dentist. This involves preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing dental instruments, preforming dental coronal polishing, assisting in dental procedures, and taking dental radiographs.

To be considered for this role, you will need to be dependable, able to educate children in a compassionate and fun way, and the ability to work effectively with a team. Dental Assistant Responsibilities

• Prepare patients to been seen by our dentist
• Set-up instrument trays, treatment materials, and assist in dental procedures
• Follow and maintain OSHA guidelines
• Take radiographs
• Collect, record, and maintain the dental health records of our patients
• Provide oral hygiene and nutritional counseling

Dental Assistant Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• X-ray certification preferred
• Basic computer literacy
• Proficiency or ability to learn dental practice management software such as Open Dental
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• A positive, upbeat attitude
• Dental Experience preferred
• Being a team player and being dependable are mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
