Summary
Pride and Joy is looking for an After-School Teacher & Learning coach to work with our school age students. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work with our school age children.
Duties
This individual will monitor and assist students with their homework, create activities for students during after school hours and days that school is closed. They will be responsible for making sure all students are engaged with various activities while in their care. They will also responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lessons, and providing academic support and homework assistance. They must maintain a clean and organized classroom environment and presenting classroom rules and procedures clearly so that students can understand and follow. Communicating regularly with parents and guardians about students progress and behavior is a requirement. The individual must collaborate and work well with other staff members to ensure an effective program. The individual must ensure the safety of students and staff at all times
Requirements
It is nice for the individual to be able to drive a van or mini-bus. Must have a clean driving record.
The candidate must have experience with school age students and knowledge of instructing students academically. Must be able to work from 2:00pm - 6:00pm
1 year experience working in an after school program.
Must be able to pass background check.
