We are a small, private, Nurse Practitioner Owned, family practice clinic offering medical care, mental health care, hormone replacement therapy, sexual wellness testing / treatment / prevention as well as aesthetic procedures and med-spa services. Pride Family Medicine in Cedar Park, TX, has an opportunity for a full time Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Experience with the LGBTQ and HIV population is a strong plus. An understanding of aesthetic services and the ability to perform aesthetic procedures with botox and fillers is also a plus. We are a BioTe certified clinic.

- Hours of Operation: Clinic is open Monday - Friday, typically 9a-6p, 4 work days per week. Closed for lunch from 1p - 2p

Position Highlights:
- Salary and/or productivity based income - ($90k - $125K / yr)

- Patient visits typically 30 to 45 minutes with no overbooking

Candidate Highlights:
At Pride Family Medicine, the Nurse Practitioner focus is in the educative, preventative, and curative areas to patients including, but not limited to:
- Provides patient care by examining and diagnosing patients; carrying out or supervising medical treatment, therapy, and follow-up; referring patients for specialty consultation and treatment; educating patients in medical care.
- Complete reports, charges, and data entry with accuracy and in a timely fashion.
- Educate each patient/family member.
- Manage and document clinical issues as they arise; coordinate emergency care, as needed.
- Mentor, support and supervise the technicians during the delivery of patient care and treatment.
- Promotes, supports, and engages in projects and activities which will develop or improve services delivered at Pride Family Medicine.
- Assures compliance with licensing, certification and accreditation bodies
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by participating in continuing education or seminars related to job responsibilities. * Participates in chart review as required. * Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as requested.
- Assists and receives direction in the provision of patient care by consulting with the supervising physician on as needed basis or during monthly meeting
- Assists the owners by being involved in the recruitment, retention, and evaluation of medical staff; assisting with the planning and evaluation of primary medical care and service programs.
- Complies with necessary regulatory standards and licensure requirements mandated by Federal and State Agencies (i.e. HIPAA, OSHA, and CPR certification)
- Acts with honesty and integrity in all business transactions, including, but not limited to, employment applications/resumes, patient records, time records, and financial transactions
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Education
MSN graduate degree from an accredited Family NP program is required
NP Board Certification from AANP or ANCC
Unrestricted and valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas
Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Department of Public Safety (DPS) and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR), III-V for the purpose of writing prescriptions.
Skills and Abilities
Experience working in an ethnically, culturally, and racially diverse environment is ideal
Ability to work harmoniously with diverse groups of individuals is required
Current CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with EHR system
Excellent Computer Skills
At least two years of clinical experience as an NP in primary care is preferred
Previous autonomous patient care
BioTe Certified
Experience with Aesthetic Services, Injections, skin care products
