Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Program Evaluation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and enhancing data quality, ensuring that our data systems are efficient and effective. This role requires a strong understanding of data evaluation methodologies and the ability to work with various data technologies. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making processes.
Duties
1) Responsible for entering all confidential HIV/STI testing data into database systems in a timely manner, following HIPAA-compliant protocols
2) Work with program administrative team to develop/adapt data entry forms to ensure compliance with reporting requirements
3) Run monthly/weekly service reports to assess program/service effectiveness
4) Responsible for the execution of quality assurance and improvement projects for all state-funded DOH initiatives in collaboration with program administration
5) Communicate efficiently with staff regarding data discrepancies
6) Communicate effectively with Data Analyst & AD Prevention Services regarding testing data entry and quality concerns
7) Assist Data Analyst with monthly compilations for data/program services
8) Attend weekly staff meetings, reporting on data concerns.
9) Assist staff with internal data-into-care program
10) Maintain weekly records of data entry
11) Perform standard levels of analysis
12) Responsible for adhering to all state/federal laws and regulations surrounding HIV/AIDS Confidentiality and HIPAA
13) Additional activities as assigned by Data Analyst
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
Working experience with quality assurance and compliance preferred.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel. Have the ability to learn new software programs quickly and be able to problem-solve common IT issues. A developed tech-savviness and fluidity in software programs is preferred.
Ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of responsibility, organization, integrity and trustworthiness. The candidate is expected to be flexible when assigned various data-related tasks by supervisor.
Professional and lived experience working with LGBTQ population as well as HIV/Prevention Services is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
