Pride Health is hiring an Accessioner to support our client’s medical facility in Phoenix, AZ. This is a 6 month contract with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Title: Accessioner I

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85040

Pay Rate: $17 - $19/hr. on W2.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM

Duration: 6 Months

*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and triage all incoming specimens, ensuring proper labeling and documentation for clinical testing.
• Manage and update clinical information in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to maintain accurate records.
• Perform internal audits of clinical charts to ensure compliance with lab protocols and regulations.
• Coordinate with laboratory personnel and other departments to verify specimen quality and ensure accurate testing.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of samples, primarily focusing on blood specimens.
• Collaborate with laboratory professionals to ensure timely processing of samples and accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• AS or BS degree in biological sciences preferred
• Minimum 6 months of experience.
