What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) position at Pride Health?
Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility IN Bronx, NY. This is a 13-week opportunity with the possibility of an extension, a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.
REQUIRED:
1. Measures, collects, and record patient vitals sign.
2. Perform basic lab testing and other approved test.
3. Displays proficient phlebotomy practices.
4. Prepare specimens for transportations.
5. Assists in examination and treatment of patient under clinician direction.
6. Places follow up call to patients.
7. Perform other duties are required.
Must have:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 1 year of medical assistant experience.
· CMA certification
· Active BLS from AHA
Additional Information:
Location: Irving, TX
Job Duration: Full-time
Shifts: Monday- Thursday 12 pm - 8 pm, Friday 10 am - 6 pm
Pay Range: $225/hr
