Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in West Bend, WI. This is a 13-week contract with the possibility of an extension, and it is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.
Description:
A Medical Assistant is a healthcare professional and an essential member of the patient-centered healthcare team. This individual is responsible for pre-visit planning standard rooming responsibilities, assisting with procedures discharge instructions and other duties as assigned. The medical assistant is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patient’s visit. The medical assistant may be required to cross-train and float as needed to maintain optimal clinic operations. Other duties as assigned.
Required:
- One to two years of clinical experience is preferred.
- Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required. Certification through the AAMA and/or an equal certification board or certification is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant Program (Associate Diploma or Certificate)
- A graduate of a non CAAHEP or ABHES Medical Assistant program (Associate diploma or Certificate) or Military Medic/Corpsman training.
- Able to give vaccines; have worked with Pediatric patients, reliable, and has used Epic in the past.

Location: West Bend, WI
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shifts: Monday 7:00-6pm, Tuesday OFF, Wednesday 7:30-6:15pm, Thursday 7:00-5:30pm, Friday 7:15-5:00pm
Hourly Pay: $23 - $25/ hour (Based on experience)
