Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Deliver safe, evidence-based care, assess patient needs, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive care.
- Patient Experience: Model Relationship Centered Care, respect patient preferences and values, address concerns, and foster therapeutic relationships.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure safe, efficient care, engage in quality improvement efforts, and identify and escalate safety concerns as needed.
- Operations: Perform charge nurse duties, manage resources, ensure accurate documentation, and facilitate patient throughput.
- Professional Development: Continuously enhance clinical skills, engage in lifelong learning, and participate in unit and organizational committees.
Qualifications:
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- RN License
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PHR (Purposeful Hourly Rounding)
Additional Information:
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Job Type: Contract (26 weeks)
Schedule: 5x8 – Days – 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay Range: $25,78/ hour
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
