Pride Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a contract in Rochester, MN.
Position Details:
- Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician
- Location: Rochester, MN 55905
- Job Type: Contract (14 weeks)
- Start Date: April 8th, 2025
- Shift: Evenings (Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
- Hours: 40 per week | 8-hour shifts
- Travel pay: $39/hour
- Local pay: $35/hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver medical/surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures
- Clean, package, and sterilize surgical equipment and instrumentation
- Maintain inventory and manage storage of supplies in the core
- Operate and troubleshoot sterilization and decontamination equipment (autoclaves, washer disinfectors, ultrasonic cleaners)
- Utilize computer applications to assist with sterilization tracking and processing
- Adapt to unpredictable situations in a fast-paced perioperative setting
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Certification as a Central Processing Technician (CRCST) through HSPA within 18 months of hire
Experience:
- 2 years of experience handling and sterilizing surgical/medical/dental instrumentation
