Position Overview :
Pride Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our healthcare team in San Jose, CA. This is a 13-week contract position offering guaranteed hours. This is an excellent opportunity for CLS professionals with Blood Bank experience looking to work in a dynamic and supportive hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform clinical laboratory tests in Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Chemistry, and Blood Bank.
- Operate laboratory equipment including Coulter 780, Siemens 2500, Beckman Urisys, and Ortho Vitros 7600.
- Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Maintain patient confidentiality while adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
- Document and report laboratory findings accurately using Meditech.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate results.
- Ensure that lab equipment is calibrated and maintained according to protocols.
- Adhere to all hospital and regulatory policies and standards.
