Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT technologist to join our team on a travel assignment basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing imaging procedures using computed tomography scanners and working effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Perform imaging procedures using computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography or Radiation Therapy (R.T.(R) or R.T.(T)) or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
