Job Description:
Job Title: CT Tech
Location: Des Moines, IA
Schedule: 5X8 Hrs
Shift: Nights
Pay Range: $2800 - $2900 /week gross DOE
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment and assist in maintaining high-quality imaging standards. As part of our collaborative team, you will help ensure the smooth operation of imaging services and support the diagnostic needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of routine and advanced CT imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality and accurate results.
- Prepare the imaging room for procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is set up and properly sterilized, following isolation protocols when required.
- Provide basic maintenance and repairs to imaging equipment, and actively participate in Quality Assurance (QA) activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
- Collaborate with staff to organize and prioritize imaging schedules, including both routine and emergent procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical CT imaging experience required.
Education:
- Minimum: Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Licensure and Certification:
- State of Iowa Licensed Radiographer required.
- Certification by ARRT (R) (Radiography) (CT) (Computed Tomography) required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association required.
