Pride Health is seeking an experienced Cytotechnologist to join a healthcare team in Columbus, OH 43214 for a 13-week assignment.
Job Description:
- The principal responsibility of the Cytotechnologist is to microscopically examine a wide variety of complex cellular body specimens for the purpose of identifying abnormal changes in cells that may be indicative of inflammatory, premalignant, malignant or other changes.
- The process must be performed with a high degree of accuracy, precision and timeliness.
- These assessments are based on specific knowledge of hum anatomy, physiology and pathology, and on judgement acquired in specialized undergraduate and postgraduate training.
- EMR is EPIC.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Cytotechnology (or equivalent) plus ASCP, SCAT, or CT (CMIAC) certification OR BS in related field CAHEA-approved Cytotechnology program
- 2 years hospital travel experience and high-volume lab exposure
- Must be Hologic/ThinPrep imager trained (include ThinPrep Cert, Diploma, and 2024 PAP PT with your submission)
Additional Information:
- Location: Columbus, OH 43214
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM; occasional weekends (no call/holidays)/ 40 hours/week.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Pay Rate: $70 - $74/hour
