Job Description: Diagnostic Imaging Professional - Computed Tomography Scanner Operator
About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Professional to operate computed tomography (CT) scanners and provide high-quality imaging services to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic sciences and excellent communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Operate CT scanners to capture high-quality images of internal structures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field.
• Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in CT scanning.
• 2 years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
