Job Title: Director of Regulatory Compliance
Are you an experienced leader in healthcare compliance with a passion for promoting ethical standards and regulatory adherence? We are seeking a dedicated Director of Regulatory Compliance to lead and manage the effective implementation of compliance initiatives across a dynamic healthcare system.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of regulatory compliance components of the Ethics and Compliance Program, ensuring adherence to federal healthcare program requirements and organizational policies.
- Lead a team of compliance professionals, fostering collaboration and accountability to achieve program objectives.
- Ensure compliance with guidance from regulatory authorities such as the OCR, OIG, DOJ, CMS, and Texas HHS.
- Develop and deliver compliance education, training, and communication initiatives tailored to a diverse workforce.
- Implement robust auditing and monitoring procedures to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Act as the organizational Privacy Officer, overseeing adherence to federal and state laws governing health information privacy.
- Manage cross-functional teams to achieve milestones and deliverables related to compliance activities.
- Coordinate timely responses to third-party audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Monitor external regulatory environments to ensure alignment with industry best practices and evolving compliance requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree (preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare operations or compliance, preferably within a large, multi-faceted healthcare organization or academic medical center.
- Proven expertise in compliance investigations, auditing, monitoring, and education/training initiatives.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong critical thinking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Certification (required):
- Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC)
- Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US)
- Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS)
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)

- Compensation: $61 - $103/Hr.
